2025 MOAUM Post-UTME & DE Screening Form Is Out – Apply Now

Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly known as Benue State University, invites qualified candidates to register for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This registration officially begins on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and ends on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

If you chose MOAUM as your first choice institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or through Direct Entry, this is your chance to begin the admission process.


Who Is Eligible?

To participate in the screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. UTME Candidates

  • You must have scored 160 or above in your UTME.
  • MOAUM must be your first choice of institution or you must have officially switched to MOAUM via the JAMB portal.
  • You must possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings.

2. Departmental Cut-off Scores

Depending on your desired course, your minimum UTME score must meet the following thresholds:

How to Apply for MOAUM Post-UTME/DE Screening

Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete your application:

  1. Visit the University Website: Go to www.bsum.edu.ng.
  2. Access the Screening Portal: Under the “APPLICATIONS” tab, click on “POST UTME/DE.”
  3. JAMB Verification: Enter your JAMB registration number and click “VERIFY.”
  4. Proceed to Payment: Once verified, click “PROCEED” to access the online payment platform.
  5. Pay the Screening Fee: Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 via the e-payment system.
  6. Complete Your Application:
    • After payment, return to www.bsum.edu.ng,
    • Click on the “Admission Menu”,
    • Select “Continue UTME/DE Application”,
    • Fill in all required information and print out your completed form.

Important Advisories for All Applicants

Please take note of the following critical instructions:

  • Upload Your Results: All applicants must upload their O’Level or A’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal. Without this, you will not be considered for admission.
  • Change of Course for Mass Communication Applicants: Candidates who selected B.Sc. Mass Communication must switch to another programme within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
